Network Switch Requirements
AdderLink XDIP used the multicast protocol to stream data from a transmitter to multiple receivers. This reduces the network bandwidth as each receiver picks up the same data sent from transmitter.
The network switch must mustsupport the following features:
• Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) Internet Group Management Protocol
• At least Level 2 (preferably 3)
• IGMP Snooping enabled
• IGMP Fast leave enabled
AdderLink XDIP tests the network tests the network for for these features
