The ADDERLink INFINITY 3000 Series has been designed to give users real-time access to both physical and virtual machines from a single human-machine interface (HMI). Users can switch instantly between unlimited virtual and physical machines, directly from their own individual user workstation. By incorporating VDI protocols into the receiver, the ALIF3000 allows all operators to access all machines in a more efficient way. Instead of adding a new transmitter every time a user needs access to a new virtual session, an administrator can easily configure the management system to enable permissions.

ALIF3000 receiver has been created to address the growing requirement to connect users to both physical and virtual machines. Using standard VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) protocols - which are built-in, ALIF3000 delivers seamless access to legacy KVM systems as well as virtual machine (VM) sources, from the same common console.

This IP KVM Receiver brings VM access to the multi award-winning AdderLink INFINITY range allowing users to seamlessly and securely switch between virtual and physical machines directly from their user workstation - without the need to rip and replace existing KVM infrastructure. Built on the successful Intel^® X-86 microprocessor architecture, ALIF3000 delivers pixel-perfect picture quality, audio and USB 2.0 to single or dual screens over a single 1GbE link.

ALIF3000 has been designed to seamlessly and securely integrate VM access into an existing AdderLink INFINITY network without disruption, downtime or costly replacement fees. By utilizing the trusted AdderLink INFINITY Manager (AIM), IT administrators can clearly define user access rights to ensure that target PC's and virtual sessions can only be accessed by permitted users - providing peace of mind and ensuring security is optimized.

Dual DisplayPort^® video outlets provide support for a single 2560x1600 display or two at a maximum 1920x1200 resolution (60Hz refresh).

ALIF3000 unit is housed within a durable, vented enclosure with connectors situated on the front and rear panels. The smart front face also features an OLED information screen with control button (to scroll through the various informational pages) and also a status indicator.

Gigabit connections
ALIF3000 receiver has two SFP ports located on its rear panel, which can accommodate a range of fiber or copper networking modules, as suits your installation. Each port can be connected to a separate gigabit fiber (or copper) network to permit access to a wider range of systems. A third network port (RJ45) is also provided to allow separate access, where necessary, to a corporate network to gain the VM hosting configuration data. All three connections are securely isolated within ALIF3000 to prevent any cross contamination between networks.

Security
ALIF3000 is a closed and hardened KVM system with virtual machine access. Unauthorized software cannot be loaded onto the units without administrator approval.

Choice and Compatibility
ALIF3000 can be added to an existing AdderLink INFINITY matrix to deliver real-time KVM and virtual machine access - with the security, reliability and flexibility benefits of traditional IP KVM solutions.

Like all products within the AdderLink INFINITY family, ALIF3000 is fully administered by the AIM* application to allow centralized, secure management of all aspects. 

Bridging the gap between both the physical and virtual world, AdderLink INFINITY 3000 allows for cost-efficient and flexible virtual machine enabled KVM, alongside seamless integration with the existing AdderLink INFINITY range.
