AS-UHF: USB port expander 

The USB port expander provides an additional USB port for applications that require, say, a touchscreen device in addition to keyboard and mouse. It also provides advanced protection incorporating physical and programmed protection of computer USB ports.

Protection features
• The expander physically mounts and locks on a standard USB port
• Forced removal damages the USB port making it unusable
• Accepts only USB HID devices (keyboards and mice) and blocks other HID devices
• Hardcoded ASCII keyboard / mice characters
• Incapable of processing any code other than HID-ASCII
• Highly secure, read-only non-configurable chip
