Passive infrared motion detectorss
for your security needs
AKCP's infrared motion detectors employ a hardware based motion detection technology that detects movement up to 9 feet away.
When motion is detected, notifications can be sent through AKCP environment monitoring appliance via SMS, E-mail or MMS (among others) and even have pictures from installed cameras attached to give instant visual feedback as to the developing situation.
AKCP motion detectors can be used as a trigger of alarms and actions through the AKCP environment monitoring appliance base unit. A siren and strobe light connected to sensorProbe environment monitoring appliance, for example, can be triggered based on the motion detectors' status.
Sensor controlled relays can be turned on, meaning that the motion detectors can also be used to trigger any DC or AC powered device, whether it be an alarm or light.
AKCP PIR (passive infrared) hardware motion detectors are the perfect accompaniment as part of your security monitoring system. Its unique design allows mounting in either ceiling or walls and characterizes the optimum detection angle to prevent false alarms.
Although compatible with both sensorProbe and securityProbe product series, it is ideally suited to the securityProbe product line.
When combined with the securityProbe 5E's notifications, cameras, and security sensors, it provides a complete network enabled security monitoring system.
AKCP motion detectors can be daisy-chained together with a maximum of 10 in a single string, meaning a single sensor port can support 10 motion sensors. When one motion sensor in the string is in critical state - the whole string will show as critical.
