SS15: A magnetic on/off switch for monitoring doors and windows 

Security sensors are simple magnetic contact switches that can be placed on any door, cabinet or window to sense the open or closed position.

When the door, or window, opens, the input signal is detected by sensorProbe or securityProbe environment monitoring appliance base unit. Alerts can then be generate to notify you even including images captured from an attached camera to give you instant visual feedback on the situation.

Security sensors are active switches that close when one half of the sensor is in close proximity to its mate. When the two sensor pairs are moved apart from each other they open. The base unit senses closure and opening of these switches.

Ideal for using when you need to simply know if a door is open or closed without controlling access.

Security sensors can be daisy-chained together with several on a single sensor port, although in this configuration you will not know which sensor is critical - just that one sensor in the string is in critical state.
