VDS: A vibration sensor designed for protecting against forced entry 

works with both the sensorProbe or securityProbe base units 

AKCP vibration sensor is a normally closed input switch that detects when there is vibration, or a window is broken. It can be connected to both the sensorProbe or securityProbe base units and then linked to notification alerts.

This sensor is designed for protecting against forced entry by hammer, saw, crowbar etc. through walls, ceilings, windows, safes, cabinets, etc. It will initiate an alarm when a vibration from a non-desirable force strikes the protected surface.

It is useful for being alerted if an object is moved, or if a cabinet is being forcibly opened.

Install vibration sensors on cabinets, safes, floors or walls and detect when vibration occurs.

The vibration sensor has a built-in tamper switch which is independent of the main vibration sensor circuit to alert should the sensor be tampered with or disconnected.
