These extension cables are an ideal solution for adding length to an existing Mini-DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 2 cable or extending the fixed Mini-DisplayPort cable of a monitor. Use these cables to extend video from a computer with a Mini-DisplayPort or Thunderbolt™ 2 output port to a cable with a Mini-DisplayPort connector. These cables carry a digital audio/video signal.

The cables support a high bit rate (HBR) bandwidth meaning they can carry up to a 4K (4096x2160 at 30Hz) resolution (#54167 supports 2560x1600 resolution).

Built to DisplayPort 1.2 standards, these cables meet the requirements of high performance applications.

Note: These extension cable is not designed to be used with a Mini-DisplayPort adapter converter or a Mini-DisplayPort adapter cable.
