HDMI over IP
supporting point-to-point, one-to-many and many-to-many configurations, with PoE, video wall and multi-view capabilities
HDMI over IP extenders allow HDMI source equipment to be extended locally up to 330 feet (100 m) at up to 4K @ 60Hz resolution via CAT-5e/6 cable, supporting point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint configurations, video wall and multi-view capabilities in a flexible, expandable and cost effective manner, without the need to install dedicated cabling systems.
HDMI over IP extenders allow the creatio of a video wall of user configurable size (X by Y) supporting 100s of screens, depending on network bandwidth, utilizing one receiver for each display in the array.
Each transmitter and receiver can be connected via CAT-5e/6 cable up to 330 feet (100 m) from an Ethernet switch.
The transmitters and receivers support PoE (PD) and may be powered by a PoE (PSE) Ethernet switch.
The IR emitter and IR sensor, if required, may be purchased separately for IR based remote control applications.
For the point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint configuration the Ethernet switch must have Gigabit ports, DHCP server capability, IGMP communications protocol and support Jumbo Frames. MuxLab recommends using the Cisco SG300 Series Managed switches.
MuxLab Pro Digital Network Controller and MuxControl App are available to simplify configuration and management of this and other MuxLab AV over IP networked devices via smartphone and tablet.
