XTENDEX® PS/2 KVM Extenders extend a PS/2 keyboard/mouse and VGA display + optional stereo audio or RS232 serial control up to 600 feet via CAT-5/5e/6 cable.

Each extender consists of a local unit that connects to a computer and provides local keyboard, monitor, mouse (and optionally speakersor serial) connections, and a remote unit that connects to a keyboard, monitor (or touch-screen), mouse (and optionally to speakers or a serial RS2321 device).

The local and remote units are interconnected via CAT-5/5e/6 cable.

Optional local units supporting two remote users feature two RJ45 connectors for connecting two remote units so that two users can access the computer on a one at a time basis.

Remote units can mount to the back of a flat panel monitor using an optional VESA mounting bracket .
