SmartAVI DisplayPort multi-platform KVM switches are capable of managing two or four dual- or quad-video computers through two or four DisplayPort monitors, one USB keyboard, one USB mouse, and other USB 2.0 devices. The mult-video  compatibility of these switches enable supervising workflow and monitoring operations.

DisplayPort is one of the latest options in screen connectivity that delivers top quality high-definition video, and these devices are DisplayPort 1.2 compliant with support for screen resolutions up to 3840x2160 @ 30Hz with zero pixel loss from TMDS signal correction. HDMI and DVI video connections are supported with the proper video adapters, and the device is backwards compatible with prior DisplayPort versions.

USB emulation technology utilized by these switches enable immediate hotkey source switching through a remote USB keyboard and mouse. Additional USB peripherals can be attached, like a USB printer. RS-232 control and front panel switching are supported.
