EKS-series VGA server adapter (dongle) 

EKS-series VGA server adapter (dongle) provide UTP-cabling connection between a SmartAVI EKS-series KVM switch and connected server. The dongle converts all signals from the attached server for transmission over UTP (CAT-5/5e/6/7) cabling to the EKS-series KVM switch.

Each dongle connects to the video and USB ports of an individual server and delivers 'keep-alive' keyboard/mouse and video emulation ensuring that the server never hangs.

With a small and slim form factor, the dongle utilizes KVM over CAT-5 technology to directly connect each server to the EKS-series KVM switch, reducing cable clutter and enabling a distance of up to 150 feet between the server and KVM switch.
