High-Performance Design and Advanced Features
Vertiv Avocent ACS 800 serial console offers upgraded and advanced features that deliver scalable and high performance solutions for IT administrators. The console server features a dual ARM core processor platform with dual gigabit-Ethernet ports and out-of-band network access via a built-in analog modem. In addition, there is an environmental sensor port, to connect a variety of sensors for monitoring and logging on the appliance.
Serial ports are auto sensing for pin-out and Vertiv Avocent ACS 800 serial console offers robust software features to meet the requirements of the most demanding remote management applications. Features include automated discovery tools to ease identification of servers, routers, switches and power devices connected to any serial port, saving time at initial configuration and installation.
To comply with existing network access policies, Vertiv Avocent ACS 800 serial console provides customizable, multiple access levels for secure management.
Secure, remote control with advanced console server features such as enhanced security, data logging and event monitoring, Vertiv Avocent ACS 800 serial console supports next-generation network standards such as Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).
Optional mounting kits are available for wall, DINrail, or 1U rack mounting.
Vertiv Avocent ACS 800 serial console uses an embedded cryptographic module that is based on the FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic module (certificate number 1747) running on a Linux ARM platform.
