LV4020P: Single-link, dual-DVI and transparent USB KVM extender 

over two CATx cables up to 164 feet 

Vertiv™ Avocent^® LongView 4020 high performance KVM (keyboard, video and mouse) extender allows users to distribute control of any computer which uses dual-DVI video and USB over two CATx cables. It enables users to locate critical computing hardware in a secure and temperature controlled environment, away from the user work station environment, while maintaining the same user experience.

LongView 4020 transmits a two single-link DVI video streams, USB 2.0 and analog audio over two CATx cables, and delivers perfect 1080p digital video at distances over 164 feet (50 meters) and resolutions up to 164 MPixels per second (e.g. 1920x1200 @ 60Hz or 3840x2400 @ 17Hz).

In operation, LongView 4020 is truly plug and play, delivering full EDID data from computer to screen ensuring your hardware is always setup to deliver optimal display performance.

Perfect Digital Video, Real-Time Control
Vertiv Avocent LongView 4020 extender uses an uncompressed system whereby every pixel of every frame is sent without loss. HDMI video and audio can be extended with the
correct adapter cable, although HDCP and CEC are not supported.

164 Feet (50 meters) over Two CATx Cables
Video, USB 2.0 (low and full speed) and audio all pass along two cables, providing up to 164 feet (50 meters) of extension.

Power Efficiency
Vertiv Avocent LongView 4020 extender is designed to be highly power efficient and run with the minimum of input. In fact, the transmitter unit is so energy efficient that it can be powered solely from the host computer USB connections.

EDID Management
The system has intelligent EDID management to allow the true characteristics of the monitor to be passed back to the computer.

Plug and Play
Vertiv Avocent LongView 4020 extender is delivered in a zero config state so you can plug it inand start working with it straight away. There's no need for drivers or software to be installed.

USB 2.0
Enables connection of any USB human interface device from mouse and keyboard through to graphics tablets, touchscreens, jog shuttles, joysticks, 3D explorers and mass storage devices. Full speed (12Mbps) isochronous devices such as headsets are supported.

Analog Audio
Stereo CD quality (stereo channel 16 bit sampled at 44.1kHz) is available to transfer audio from local to remote for line out.

Digital Video
Single screen at 1920x1200 @ 60Hz maximum resolution.

Rack Options
Both transmitter and receiver units can be used stand-alone or up to 8 rack-mounted units.
