Vertiv Avocent LongView extension solution enables you to increase the distance between the user and the target system. Extension solutions are ideal for broadcast, IT, industrial, transportation, emergency management and defense/military applications. The extender moves computing assets to secure, climate-controlled environments up to 330 feet from the workstation while still delivering seamless and instantaneous KVM capabilities. The extender delivers a smooth user experience with no delays or signal degradation and supports isochronous USB devices such as webcams, joysticks and touchscreens.

Vertiv Avocent LongView 5020 high-performance KVM extender does not require on-site configuration - plug the transmitter and receiver in, and start working right away without drivers or software to install.

LongView 5020 KVM extender kit supports DisplayPort++ Dual Mode video and offers pixel-perfect video resolutions for demanding applications.

Users can choose to have a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 (Ultra-HD 4K) with a single monitor or 1920x1200 (WUXGA) resolution in a dual monitor configuration.

Picture quality is delivered through an uncompressed system whereby every pixel of every frame is sent without loss.

LongView 5020 does more than just extend system control - it provides a full-function connection that enables up to six USB 2.0 human interface devices including mice, keyboards, graphics tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks and 3D explorers. Mass storage and isochronous devices, such as webcams and headsets, can be used through the transparent USB 2.0 high-speed port*. High-definition audio recording and playback is also supported.
