LC-MM-SFP: Multimode fiber-optic module with LC connectors 

for point to point connections or to connect HMX units to a network switch with fiber connectivity 

HMX series comes with integral SFP cages which allow you to simply plug in SFP transceivers suitable for your application.

HMX units can be either connected directly to each other or via a high speed network. The connections can be copper-based Gigabit Ethernet as well as Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). These can be used in parallel to provide up to 2 Gigabit connections speeds.

A single System port (Gigabit Ethernet) is provided as standard on the right side of the front panel. Additionally, the Teaming port, located just to the left, allows you to insert an optional Fiber Channel SFP module. The module can then allow a fiber optic link to be used in parallel with the fixed System (Gigabit Ethernet) port.

This Multimode unit provides a 4.25Gbps rate selectable with LC type connectors suitable for up to 1640 feet.
